King Abdullah approves establishing 33 new colleges and 12 Scientific Chairs
Riyadh, SPA:
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Head of the Cabinet and Head of the Council of Higher Education, approved a range of resolutions made by the Council of Higher Education in its 62nd session.
Dr. Khalid Bin Mohamed Al-Anqary, Minister of Higher Education pointed out that the Council has agreed on establishing 33 new colleges all over the Kingdom.
He added that the King approved the Council’s resolution to deliberate how to utilize UNESCO scientific chairs at Saudi Universities.
He said that the resolutions approved included linking College of Medicine at King Fahd Medical City with King Saud University for Health Sciences.
