Deputy Minister of Labor heading Kingdom's delegation for a conference on World Economic Crisis

Dr. Abdulwahed Bin Khaled Alhumaid, Deputy Minister of Labor, heads the Kingdom's Delegation for the conference of the 20 States Group Ministers of Labor, that is to be held in Washington on April, 20, 2010.
The said conference is planned to discuss The World Economic Crisis which has badly affected economy all over the world, so as to find suitable solutions to protect world economy from collapse, in addition to availing Job Opportunities the world over.
Saudi Ministry of Labor is to participate in the conference with an agenda full of solutions of how to avail job opportunities, support appropriate type of work, and prepare programs suitable to train the unemployed. The agenda emphasizes on the importance of strong growth in the field of employment in different countries, assuring that this will support the Economic World Demand in this regard. As a result, incomes will increase especially in countries where citizens suffer from lowering wages, then this will lead to a balanced World Economy in addition to a quality-development of most types of work which will help laborers to share the highly productive profits, the agenda concluded.
The conference will discuss the necessary ways to continuously avail and sustain job opportunities stressing the importance of dedicating social support for the unemployed. It will also throw light on investment in infrastructure, caring for poor and countryside families, improving quality of jobs, non-violation of national labor laws, improving Primary education to face future labor challenges, in addition to elaborating means of developing skills both during education or being on service.
