Kingdom partakes GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee

Riyadh  - The 80th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee starts today in Omani capital, Muscat.
The kingdom's delegation is headed by Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf along with Saleh Al-Khaliwi-Director General Of Saudi Customs and Undersecretary of the ministry of finance for economic affairs Dr Hamad al-Bazi.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministerial-level meeting's agenda will review  GCC economic Integration, a proposed GCC railroad, progress regarding the GCC monetary union and currency, and creation of investment funds as proposed by heads of GCC social security institutions will be addressed on the agenda.
The officials would also review steps taken towards implementation of resolutions of the Higher Council on the GCC market and policy of treating GCC citizens as nationals across the GCC region.
Other issues to come up include the Gulf plan against diabetes.
