Riyadh Chamber Portal wins 14th  Middle East eGovernment and eServices Excellence Award

Riyadh – The portal of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry has gained the 14th  Middle East eGovernment and eServices Excellence Award.
 Mr. Hussein bin Abdurrahman Alazl, the Secretary-General of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry has received the award from H.E. Saqer Ghubash, Minister of Labour and Dr. Rashid Bin Fahd Minister of Environment and Water in UAE at Middle East Excellence Awards Institute in Dubai, on the sidelines of 5th meeting of the Government and electronic services, and in the presence of more than 500 project managers from personal e-government and information technology experts in the region and the world and winning awards a number of institutions, bodies and government departments from Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait.
Chairman of Riyadh Chamber for Commerce and Industry, Abdurrahman bin Ali Jerisi, according to "Al- Al Eqtisadiah" newspaper pointed out that the award is an incentive and encouragement for the Chamber and all those entities interested in e-government project in the Gulf countries for further development and interest in taking advantage of the potential shift to electronic and information society to achieve sustainable development, the transition from traditional methods to information revolution, achieving knowledge economy and the openness of globalization.
The award's program focuses on the use of eServices and eCommerce applications by regional organizations to surpass customers' expectations and outperform competitors.
