King revokes condition for hiring women in education sector

Riyadh, City, SPA:
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved recommendations to stop application of the controls of residence proof by female applicants for female educational jobs and open the door for employment of female applicants for female educational jobs through open announcement just like the male educational jobs.
The requirements for the implementation of this decision shall be completed and prepared before the start of the fiscal year 1433/1434 H, the king directed.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also directed that transport authorities concerned with this issue should apply safety regulations ensuring the safety of cars and passengers.
On this occasion, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammad, the Minister of Education, expressed thanks to the king for supporting education.
The Minister said that the need for cancelling the condition of residence has become urgent after the issuance of the royal order on creation of 52,000 jobs for the Ministry of Education for the importance of achieving justice among the female applicants for these huge numbers of jobs.
