A Pilot project for the Comprehensive Service Fund in Khlais, Al-Kamel and Al-Mahd

Riyadh, e-Media: Communications and Information Technology Commission “CITC” offered a pilot project for the Comprehensive Service Fund to provide visual communications and broad-band internet services in Khlais and Al-Kamel Governorates in Makkah region, and Al-Mahd Governorate in Medina region. Mobily Corporation has won the competition to implement the project with a value of SR 50 million. The agreement was signed yesterday in Riyadh by Governor of CITC Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Jaafary who is the president of the executive committee of the project, and Eng. Khaled Bin Omar Al-Kaf, executive president of Mobily Co. CITC Governor pointed out that the Commission has exerted all its efforts to implement instructions of the Monarch to execute comprehensive development in all the Kingdom’s regions attempting to have the national economy strategies flourished. On his part, executive president of Mobily Co. Eng. Khalid Al-Kaaf stated that his company will focus all its efforts and potentials to benefit residents of regions covered under the Project. He confirmed that his company possesses most sophisticated technologies and advanced broad-band networks which represent a momentum to continue efforts to provide such services.
