Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs cabinet session
Riyadh, SPA:
Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, chaired the cabinet session held yesterday at Yamama Palace in Riyadh.
At the outset of the session, Prince Sultan assures all Saudi people on the Health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz.
The Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, welcomed Prince Metib Bin Abdullah, Minister of State and Chairman of the National Guard, who joined lately the Cabinet.
Dr. Abdulaziz Khoja, Minister of Information, pointed out that the cabinet discusses its agenda where it approved the modifications made on the convention of the Physical Protection of Nuclear Materials which the Kingdom has joined on 12/7/1429 by the royal decree no. 40M.
Other issues were also tackled including the increase on the monthly rewards to students who studied with scholarship in Japan.
He said the cabinet agreed on deputizing the Director General of Customs or his representative to discuss with World Customs Organization to prepare a memorandum of understanding to approve Customs Training Institute to be a regional Institute. The cabinet also approved the final documents of the Regional Radio-Communications Conference (Geneva 2006).
