King approves holding largest Forum for Women Associations

Riyadh - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz  has agreed to hold in Qassim region the largest forum for women's associations and social responsibility departments at the level of kingdom's regions during the period 19-22  Dhu al-Qadah 1430H corresponding to 7-10 November 2009, which is organized by King Abdul Aziz Women Charity in Qassim region and patronized  by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The chairwoman of the charity, Jawhara Bint Mohammad Al-Wabili, said, according to "Al-Jazirah" newspaper that the forum comes under the slogan "From Charity to Empowerment", will open its activities Emir of Qassim region in the presence of Deputy Minister of Social Affairs.
The forum will  discuss 11 topics in particular, training of Saudi women economically and socially, and attract funding to support the successful development programs, projects for children and capacity building, issues of citizenship, volunteerism and enhancing partnership with civil society organizations and government institutions in order to prepare successful and young women leaders.
The Forum includes workshops relating knowledge of the projects presentation, the needs of target groups, and partnerships with the private sector.
