On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the second vice premier laid the foundation stone for a 650-bed hospital in Jeddah. It is the new site to which King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center will be relocated. The hospital comprises
150 beds for intensive care, 90 beds for one-day surgery, 30 rooms for major surgeries and 50 dialysis stations. Dedicated centers and sections include oncology, neurology, cardiology and pediatrics. Construction will be completed within 3 years.
