By the end of the fourth quarter of 1434, ministry of health treated 33622 patients at
their homes. 326 medical teams from 181 hospitals comprising 1326 health practitioners
conducted visits to the houses of patients.The largest group receiving domestic medical
aid are seniors above 65 years old suffering physical and mental problems. They
constitute constitute 50%, followed by diabetics and hypertension patients. Other
services include physiotherapy, wound dressing, diabetic foot, urinary catheter etc...
The program provides health, treatment, preventive, nutritional, social and awareness
services.
