Makkah Education Department opened 20 media clubs in the girls' schools during the last two years. The new clubs serve more than 10 thousand girls. They are designed to meet several educational objectives in the school environment including fostering students' communication and informative talents and skills, instilling of teamwork and volunteering spirit, and ensure refined positive behavior trends. Makkah Education Director General is hopeful the new clubs would produce a conscious efficient informational generation who would use new technologies positively and effectively.
