The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by, President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) Dr. Hussam Alangari, participated in the 58th Meeting of the Governing Board of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), which was virtually held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, with the participation of the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) heads of Thailand, Russia, Japan, Korea, India, China, Philippines, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
The meeting discussed a number of items and reports on the agenda such as the report on ASOSAI Financial Statements for Fiscal Year 2021, the ASOSAI budget plan for 2023-2025, the report on the ASOSAI Strategic Plan 2022-2027, and the report on the ASOSAI Working Group on SDGs.
Moreover, the Governing Board members discussed the report on the 13th ASOSAI Research Project and results of the subcommittees of ASOSAI in addition to other reports on the cooperation of ASOSAI with other regional organizations.
