The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received yesterday the 59th annual report of the General Auditing Bureau for the year 1439/1440 AH, which includes the most significant achievements, financial auditing results and performance monitoring carried out by the Bureau in bodies included in its auditing during the year.
This came during the King's receiving of President of the Bureau Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Angari and a number of Bureau's officials.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked the Bureau's staff for their efforts and wished them success in their duties to serve their religion and homeland.
President of the Bureau delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride in the results achieved by the Bureau this year.
He pointed out that the total amounts that the Bureau was able to maintain and supply or provide to the public treasury during the financial year of the report have reached more than 20 billion Saudi riyals, an increase of 127% compared to last year. The total amounts claimed by the Bureau during the year and still under follow-up with bodies, have reached more than 66 billion Saudi riyals, an increase of 78% compared to last year. This substantial increase in the results of the Bureau's work reflects the high level of quality and efficiency of implementing its developed methodology.
The audience was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.
