Crown Prince chairs Cabinet meeting

Riyadh - SPA

Crown Prince chaired the cabinet meeting held on Monday afternoon in Riyadh. At the
outset of the meeting, Crown Prince congratulated the Islamic and Arab nations on the
advent of the new Hijri year 1435 wishing an end to their crises. He expressed his
appreciation of the recent ranking of King Abdullah among the ten most powerful people
in the world.
The cabinet condemned the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to build 1500
new settlement units in the occupied Jerusalem. These decisions constitute a roadblock
to peace and a flagrant violation of the international legitimacy resolutions. The
cabinet appealed to the international community to exert more pressure on Israel to curb
its violation of the international law.
The cabinet reviewed a report on the recent extraordinary meeting of the Arab League on
Syria. The cabinet expressed appreciation of the Arab League support to the Syrian
National Alliance and its negotiating stance.
