Grain Silos and Flour Mills Corporation completed awarding of contracts for importing of
590,000 tons of USA, European and Australian origin wheat. Shipments are expected to be
delivered next July and August. Since the beginning of this year the exported wheat
amounted to 1.3 million tons. Local production is estimated at 500,000 ton. The total
exported wheat for this year may amount to 2.7 million tons.
