In a press conference following a meeting with Shourah Council that was also attended by minister of agriculture, acting minister of health Eng. Fageeh said Corona infection rate dropped by 80% during the last six weeks. He appealed to all people, whether those in contact with patients or in contact with camels, to take more precaution and preventive measures and comply with public hygiene rules. Measures taken by ministry of health include establishing of a command and control center that contain 11 platforms that take care of diagnosis, enhancing the efficiency of laboratories, treatment, statistics, communication, increasing of capacity. In spite of the huge number of pilgrims visiting the holly shrines, no corona infection was reported, Eng. Fageeh said.
