Deputy Minister of Communications, IT Addresses MENA Economic Forum

Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology (IT) Eng. Haitham Abdulrahman Al-Ouhali took part today, in a working session of the World Economic Forum of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) affairs, taking place, in Jordan, under the aegis of the Jordanian Monarch Abdullah II.
The Saudi official pointed to the significance of the forum, as a platform gathering the public and private sectors, as well, and as a tribune for joint action, in order to realize further economic reforms to best serve the region peoples, indicating that the forum focuses on an array of issues, including startup and sophisticated technologies impact on the Arab world.
He also drew attention to the Kingdom endeavors to launch the 5G network, as it has managed to kick off the first sites for such network, in the region, due to the attention paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince, in this regard, to realize the goals of digitally-oriented transformation, in tandem with the Kingdom Vision 2030, that would guarantee entertaining sustainability, digital-based society, e-governance and a digitally-based flourish and prosper economy.
