Saudi Arabia is considering increasing of transit flights between the east and west, says Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism & Antiquities. The statement was made in the Travel Forum in Dubai.
Flights bound to the kingdom for tourism purposes increased from 8 million flights in 2004 to 19 million flights in 2012. King Khaled International Airport will be expanded in order to handle 30 million travellers while the capacity of Madina airport will be
increased to 8 million passengers.
