Pursuant to instructions from King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, minister of finance approved
loans worth SR 1.93 billion to 11,826 borrowers from the Real Estate Fund, Agricultural
Development Fund and the Saudi Credit & Saving Fund. In a previous occasion King
Abdullah issued instructions to exempt 20,792 deceased borrowers from repayment of SR
1.840 billion while giving all borrowers two years grace period to repay more than SR
16.609 billion.
