On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who is the Honorary President of the Equestrian Club, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, patronized last evening the Annual Grand Horse Race Festival for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Two Cups.
Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Al-Janadriyah, he was received by Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Royal Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Club; Prince Abdullah bin Miteb bin Abdullah; Prince Saad bin Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mohammed bin Sultan bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz and the Director General of the Equestrian Club Adel bin Abdullah Al-Mazrou.
The event was held at Al-Janadriyah-based King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field.
The race ceremony was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Turki bin Mamdouh bin Abdulaziz bin Mashari; Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan; princes and a number of officials.
On this occasion, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz expressed his great pride for the keenness and care being accorded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Honorary President of the Equestrian Club to the sports of equestrian.
He stressed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' encouragement and support have the greatest impact in the advancement of this ancient and vintage icon of sports.
