Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs cabinet meeting

Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz chaired the cabinet
meeting held Monday afternoon at Jeddah. While briefing the cabinet on the discussions
held with president Sisi, he confirmed KSA positions on supporting of Egypt and
maintaining its security and stability.
The cabinet lauded the telegram sent by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to
president Sisi and his appeal to friendly countries and donors to help Egypt overcome
its economic crisis and refrain from tampering with Egypt's internal affairs. He
stressed that inference abuse to Egypt is an abuse to Islam and Arabism and to Saudi
Arabia at the same time. The cabinet renewed its congratulation to president Sisi and
expressed its wishes of prosperity and progress to the Egyptian people.

Having welcomed the formation of a conciliatory Palestinian government as an important
step to reinforce unity of the Palestinian people, the cabinet condemned Israeli
settlement escalation. in the western bank including eastern Jerusalem. It appealed to
the international community to stand against these violations that target undermining of
the peace process.
