The Council for Economic Affairs and Development held at Al-Azizia palace in this Eastern Region's city of Al-Khober Yesterday Evening a meeting under the chairmanship of its Chairman the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense.

During the meeting, a number of economic and developmental issues were reviewed, including the latest developments of the privatization program, its priorities, the legal and legislative framework necessary for its success as well as the programs and projects to be privatized.
The meeting was also briefed on a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on the the proposal of establishing a National Center for Privatization, including the role and functions of the facility.
