KSA, Japan sign agreement to boost cooperation in ICT

Riyadh, SPA:
The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) signed yesterday a memorandum of cooperation with the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to boost cooperation between the two countries in the field of telecommunications and information technology in order to achieve further development and growth in the information and communications technology sector for both countries.
The CIT Minister Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawahah and the Japanese Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, Masatoshi Ishida signed the agreement in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
The signing ceremony came during the participation of Minister Eng. Al-Sawahah in the ministerial meetings of the G20 digital economy held in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, in preparation for the 2019 G20 Osaka summit, in Japan to be held on 28–29 June.
