GCC Leaders, Heads of Delegations Arrive in Jeddah to Participate in 16th Consultative Meeting

Jeddah,  SPA :

 The leaders and heads of delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States began arriving here yesterday, to participate in their 16th consultative meeting.

 Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet's Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman arrived here today.

 At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 He was also received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region; Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah; GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani; Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed and a number of officials.

 At the airport-based Protocol Hall, Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said shook hands with a number of Princes; Ministers and military sectors' commanders.

 In turn, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying the Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet's Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, also arrived.

 At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 He was also received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region; Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah; GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani; Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi and a number of officials.

 At the airport-based Protocol Hall, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum shook hands with a number of Princes; Ministers, and Commanders of military sectors.

 For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying the Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar also arrived.

 At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 He was also received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region; Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah; GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi and a number of officials.

 At the airport-based Protocol Hall, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani shook hands with a number of Princes; Ministers, and Commanders of military sectors.

 For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain also arrived.

 At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 He was also received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region; Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah; GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani; Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf and a number of officials.

 At the airport-based Protocol Hall, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain shook hands with a number of Princes; Ministers, and Commanders of military sectors.

 For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait also arrived.

 At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 He was also received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region; Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah; GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani; Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdurrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli and a number of officials.

 At the airport-based Protocol Hall, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait shook hands with a number of Princes; Ministers, and Commanders of military sectors.

 For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.

 After a short break, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait was accompanied by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in an official parade to the residence of the GCC leaders and heads of delegations.

 Upon arrival at their residence, the GCC leaders and heads of delegations were received by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior.
