Civil Aviation President: Saudi Airplanes Do Not Have Navigation Line Over Iran

Riyadh, SPA:

President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan said that Saudi airplanes do not have a navigation line over Iran and that Iran needs to crossover Saudi Arabia to reach African countries.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would not be affected by suspension of flights to and from Iran following the attacks on the Saudi diplomatic missions in Iran, Al-Hamdan said in a statement on the sidelines of a press conference organized by GACA yesterday to highlight the GACA future vision.

The flights suspension also includes all airline companies working for Iran. Before cancellation, there were four weekly flights that take place between the two countries, Al-Hamdan added.
