Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques sends cable of condolences to Turkish President on victims of terrorist bombing in Istanbul

Riyadh, SPA :

 Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a cable of condolence to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Turkish Republic, on the victims of the terrorist bombing that took place in Istanbul on Tuesday.

 

 Following is the text of the message:

 His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan

 President of the Turkish Republic

 Alsalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu (peace and blessings of Allah be upon you)

 With great grief and profound sadness, we have been informed about the terrorist attack, which took place in Sultan Ahmed tourist district in Istanbul, leading to killings and injuries. We express to Your Excellency our strong condemnation and denunciation for these criminal acts. In our name and on behalf of the people and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we send to Your Excellency, to the families of the victims and the brotherly people of Turkey our heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy.

 We pray to Allah Almighty to grant the victims rest in peace and forgiveness, and bless on the injured quick recovery, renewing the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and stressing the importance of international efforts to confront and eliminate it.

 God bless you and the brotherly people of the Turkish Republic from all evils.
