Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Palestinian President

Jeddah,  SPA:

 The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Salam palace here yesterday President Mahmud Abbas of the State of Palestine, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Palestinian President held a session of talks during which it was emphasized the Kingdom s firm stance towards the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

 The latest developments in the Palestinian territories were also reviewed.

 After the meeting, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a commemorative gift from President Mahmud Abbas of the State of Palestine.

 The talks session was attended by Prince Khalid al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet s Member and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister; Minister of State and Cabinet s Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani.

 From the Palestinian side, it was attended by a number of officials and the Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bassem Abdullah Al-Agha
