The directive falls in line with a recommendation of the Minister of Labor and Social Development, who is also the Chairman of the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities Ahmed Al-Rajhi, to use a unified term for persons with disabilities.
The recommendation followed noting the use of different terms to describe persons with disabilities, in correspondence, statements and reports of governmental entities.
