His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy crown prince, Second deputy prime minister, Advisor and special envoy of Custodian of the two holy mosques decorated 11 government agencies declared winners of the e-Government Achievement Award. Out of 183 e-services and systems offered by 67 government agencies participated in the contest , 16 projects are declared winning.
Organized by Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) represented by the e-Government Program (Yesser), the ceremony was held on Wednesday, 12, Nov., 2014 at King Fahd Cultural center, Riyadh. The proceedings included inauguration of e-service systems developed by several government agencies.
The ceremony was started with a speech delivered by HRH Prince Muqrin, the sponsor of the event, followed by a speech from HE Eng. Mohamed Jamil Mulla, minister of Communications & Information Technology.
HRH Prince Muqrin inaugurated several e-services and systems that are developed by ministries of Civil Service, Housing and Higher Education. HE Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Barak, minister of Civil Service delivered a speech in this regard. Then an inauguration of phase 5 of (Iskan) portal of Ministry of Housing followed. HE Dr. Shiwaish bin Saud Al-Diwaihi, minister of Housing, delivered a speech in this occasion. Upon inauguration of “Universal” system of Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Abdul Gadir Al-Fantoukh, deputy minister of Higher Education for planning and information delivered a speech on behalf of the Ministry.
Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Soma, Director General of the e-Government Program (Yesser) delivered a speech in the ceremony. Presentations highlighting the inaugurated services were displayed in addition to two presentations about the Award and the jury.
At the end of the ceremony, HRH Prince Muqrin delivered the awards to the winners.
