Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques patronizes honoring ceremony of winners of King Khalid Prize 2019

Riyadh, SPA:
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud yesterday patronized the honoring ceremony of the laureates of the three-category King Khalid Prize 2019.
Upon arrival at the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Faisal; Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Chairman of the Council of Trustees of King Khalid Foundation and Chairman of King Khalid Prize Panel; Prince Husam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Baha Region; Prince Mohammed bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Faisal; Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; and members of the prize's panel.
Then, the Royal anthem was played to greet the monarch who was seated in his honorable place as the ceremony was commenced by a recitation of selected verses of the holy Quran.
In a key address, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz welcomed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at this year's King Khalid Award ceremony, expressing thanks for his generous support for the non-profit institutions in the Kingdom, including King Khalid Foundation and its award, citing the monarch's support as a great incentive and honor for the attention and determination of all those who belong to these institutions and beneficiaries.
Prince Faisal explained that King Khalid Award, with its three branches, seeks to honor individuals, organizations and initiatives that provide sustainable solutions to societal challenges.
He pointed out that the award provides a specialized analytical study of the organizational capabilities of all candidates, as it combines the outcome of this evaluation with educational opportunities and specialized support, enabling these institutions to pursue improvement, innovation and development, and achieve the goal of these entities towards the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, then, gave away the prestigious prizes to laureates of the three branches of this year's King Khalid prize: Development Partners, Excellence for Non-profit Organizations and Sustainability.
The ceremony was attended by Prince Bandar bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman; Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Faisal; Prince Mansour bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud bin Abdullah Al-Faisal; Prince Khalid bin Saad bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz, Special Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Saud bin Saad bin Abdulaziz; Prince Naif bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saad bin Fahd bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz; Prince Abdulrahman bin Saud Al-kabeer; Prince Metab bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, and others Princes.
