Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives and Holds Session of Official Talks with the Palestinian President

Riyadh, SPA :

 

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace in Riyadh here yesterday President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine and his accompanying delegation.

 

The Palestinian President shook hands with the Princes, Ministers and Commanders of the military sectors. A session of official talks was held at the palace.

 

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques held a luncheon in honor of the Palestinian president. After the banquet, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques received a gift from the President as a souvenir photo.

 

The audience was attended by Prince Khalid bin Fahad bin Khalid; Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Mohammed bin Fahad bin Abdulaziz; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabir, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and a number of princes.

 

During the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques reiterated the Kingdom's constant stances towards the Palestinian Cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital city. They also discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories. The session of talks was attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Khaled bin Abdurrahman Al-Isa, Minister of the State, Member of the Cabinet and Chief of the Royal Court; Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, and the Palestinian President's accompanying delegation.
