The Total tonnage cargo handled in Saudi ports during the month of May 2019 was over 23 million tons. The number of handling containers reached (619,000), an increase of 6.40%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, according to the Saudi Ports Authority ''MAWANI''.
The number of vessels in the Saudi ports during the month of May 2019 was (1044) vessels, the number of passengers (133,000) while the number of vehicles (57,000), and the number of livestock (426,000) heads.
