Ministry of Social Welfare deposited SR 143,662,627 in the bank accounts of poor
families. The funds are food allowance for Muharam month. Pursuant to royal
instructions, four billion riyals are allocated for poor families support programs. Food
allowance is paid in addition to monthly financial aid. Other aid programs include
furniture, school bag and uniform, partial payment of electricity bill, entrepreneurship
etc...
