Riyadh, SPA: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met in Riyadh today with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on the sidelines of the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit. During the meeting, they affirmed the importance of halting the military escalation in the Gaza Strip, rejecting categorically the continued aggression, occupation and forced displacement of the people in Gaza, as well as holding the occupation authorities responsible for the crimes committed against the Palestinian people and their capabilities. The two sides also agreed on the need to intensify close consultation and coordination between the Kingdom and Egypt during the coming period to confirm the Arab and Islamic vision on the Palestinian cause. The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials.
