Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on behalf of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Minister of Culture, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Hamid bin Mohammed Fayez, here yesterday opened the Riyadh International Book Fair in the presence of Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Culture and Antiquities Authority of Bahrain, and a gathering of intellectuals and officials.
The Deputy Minister of Culture delivered the speech of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, the Minister of Culture, who welcomed the participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the exhibition as a "guest of honor" for the current session.
Sheikha Mai made a speech highlighting the Saudi-Bahraini relations.
