Crown Prince Salman opened GCC defense council meeting held today in Jeddah in the
presence of US defense minister. While welcoming the US Defense minister, he underscored
the increasing threats to the region's security and stability and appealed for
orchestration of policies and defense plans. He signaled US commitment to the region'
security and stability.
