Riyadh, SPA: In line with The Human Capability Development Programs objectives - one of the programs of Vision 2030 - King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSAA) has launched Saudi Arabia’s first “Language Immersion” project with short-term educational programs for Arabic for Specific Purposes (ASP) learners. The project will help students develop their communication skills by engaging with Saudi society, learning about Saudi culture and traditions, and practicing the language in its native environment. It also aims to boost cooperation with relevant global organizations through various language learning programs.
The Language Immersion programs deliver several ASP tracks, including Arabic for Culture Purposes and Arabic for Tourism Purposes, backed by various activities and excursions that enhance the learning process.
KSAA will offer the "Arabic for Tourism Purposes" track during the first quarter of 2023 in Jeddah, targeting tourists looking to explore the Saudi touristic and archaeological sites by exposing them to the Arabic language through a cultural context and enhancing their language and communication skills via language immersion activities.
The "Arabic for Culture Purposes" track will be launched in the 2nd quarter of 2023 in Jeddah and will cater to international students who are studying Arabic as a foreign language at universities or language centers abroad and are interested in learning Arabic in its native environment.
To commemorate the launch of the program, KSAA is offering learners the opportunity to join one of the two tracks for free, with the tuition, accommodation, and commuting expenses fully covered.
