The Ministry of Sports announced the suspension of all sports activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all tournaments and competitions, as well as the closure of private sports halls and centers, starting tomorrow, March 15, 2020, until further notice.
This is an extension of the continuous efforts made by all government agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and take the necessary preventive measures in order to preserve the safety of citizens and expatriates in the Kingdom, and based on the recommendations of the committee concerned with following up on the developments of the spread this virus.
