The Saudi cabinet congratulated the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques on the two
honorary doctoral degrees from Imam University and Al-Azhar University for the efforts
he is making in favor of Islamic and Arabic issues and his contribution to security and
stability across the world.

The cabinet welcomed the new Iraqi government and expressed wishes for security and
stability and entrenchment of national unity in Iraq.

Saudi Arabia renewed its appeal to the international community to protect the rights of
the Palestinian people, right to self determination and establishment of their
independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. While expressing deep regret towards
failure to take a bold and decisive action to put an end to the suffering of the Syrian
people, the kingdom denounced terrorism, extremism and the flagrant violations to human
rights in the name of Islam by terrorist organizations.
