Crown Prince Slaman bin Abdul Aziz chaired the cabinet meeting today afternoon in
Riyadh.
At the beginning of the meeting HRH expressed appreciation to the GCC leaders for their
efforts during the meeting of the GCC supreme council in Kuwait. The council welcomed
decisions of the Islamic Cooperation Organization in which KSA expressed concern over
several challenges, particularly violations by the Israeli forces in Jerusalem and the
Zionist plan to divide Aqsa Mosque. The cabinet stressed the need for strong and firm
stance against these violations. The cabinet confirmed that KSA will work with the UN
and member states to proceed with the security council reform process.
The cabinet commended recommendations of the conference for defending prophet Mohammed
peace be on him, that was arranged by Imam University.
