Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Phone Call from EU Commission President

Riyadh, SPA:
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a phone call yesterday from the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
During the telephone conversation, the King described the Kingdom's relationship with the European Union as historical and one of the most important international partners, affirming the Kingdom's desire to enhance the partnership between the two sides in a manner that serves their common interests and supports international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the world.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also expressed his aspiration for EU's effective participation in the upcoming G20 summit, to be hosted by the Kingdom.
For her part, the President of the European Commission stressed the importance of the relationship between the European Union countries and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the achievement of common interests, expressing her great keenness on the constructive role of the European Union in the next G20 summit to be held in the Kingdom.
