Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Guests of National Festival for Heritage and Culture

Riyadh, SPA:

 Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace here yesterday the guests of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture (30th Janadriah Festival).

 The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques delivered a speech in which he welcome the intellectuals participating in the National Festival for Heritage and Cultural Festival to their country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the Festival is a milestone in the Arab cultural, literary and historical scene for more than three decades. We are honored in the Kingdom to serve the Two Holy Mosques and Muslims around the world. This country spares no effort in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers .

 We are keen on having security and peace prevail in our region. It is our right to defend ourselves without interfering in the affairs of others. We call on others not to interfere in our affairs. Therefore, we defend the Muslim lands, cooperate with the Arab and Muslim brothers everywhere to defend their countries and ensure their independence. We are ready, and there should be cooperation in countering poverty and ignorance. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the destination of Muslims, and the Two Holy Mosques is our major responsibility, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said.

"Our religion - Islam - is a religion of moderation, justice and mercy. Terrorism is contrary to Islam which is a religion of love and cooperation," the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said. There are no crises and insecurity problems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The security of your country - the country of the Two Holy Mosques - is the security of you - the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors. Therefore, we are honored that our King be called the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. I wish you all success, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques concluded. At the end of the audience, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with the guests of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture and held a luncheon banquet in their honor. The audience and luncheon banquet were attended by Prince Khalid bin Fahd bin Khalid; Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Faisal; Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard and President of the Supreme Committee of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture; and a number of officials.
