Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, affirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's belief in power of sports by holding the National Olympic Committees Conference of G20 countries.
At the outset of the conference, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal said that the sports sector sustainability is essential for the growth of the economy, health care systems, and society's prosperity. He stressed that the world at the meantime and after COVID-19 needs sports more than ever.
Prince Al-Faisal praised the Olympic solidarity budget increase by 16% in the 2020-2024 Olympic Games.
