Crown Prince chairs cabinet meeting

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon.
At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince praised Allah Almighty for bestowing recovery, the discharge from hospital, and good health on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Crown Prince conveyed the King's greetings and thanks to the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their noble feelings towards him and sent his best wishes of constant good health for the leaders of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries who have inquired about his health.

The Cabinet commended Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Award for Prophetic Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies, praising the significant impact of this award in the care of the Prophetic Sunnah, which is the second legislative source of Sharia after the Holy Quran.

The Council of Ministers welcomed the outcome of the fourth ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of the Syrian people, which was held in the city of Marrakech, and reiterated the  Kingdom's position and hope that the Syrian National Coalition, as the legitimate representative of the Syrian people, will be able to form a comprehensive and clear perspective which includes the rights of the Syrian people with all their ethnic groups and minorities and maintains the unity, land, people, sovereignty and independence of Syria.
