Sheikh Zayed Book Award declared King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz winner of the cultural
personality of the year 2014. The prize is given in recognition of his contribution to
disseminating the culture of tolerance, moderation and interfaith dialogue. President of
Abdu Dhabi Tourism and Culture stated that King Abdullah encourages knowledge and
deployed significant cultural and cognitive initiatives that have become guidance beacons
in various areas.
