In statements to the Saudi Press Agency, a number of participants in the recently-concluded Saudi Water Forum, held under the theme of “Sustainable Water.. for Sustainable Development”, have agreed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is able to achieve the goal of water sustainability due to decades of experience in the field of water production and desalination.
They also pointed out that the forum is part of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Environment ,Water and Agriculture in implementing the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030, adding that the forum is considered as an opportunity to share experiences and opinions and to learn about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strategic plan and the investments available in the water sector.
They also said that the forum aimed to discuss the national strategy of water, policies and legislation and its role in maintaining the sustainability of water as well as the opportunities for the private sector which contribute to the achievement of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
