Riyadh, SPA: Expenditure and Project Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) has won two first-place awards from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) after competing with several governmental institutions and private sector companies from the region.
The first award the authority won was the “Best Collaborative Teamwork Project,” which it has implemented in partnership with several public agencies, including the Ministry of Health, the General Directorate of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense, the King Faisal Specialist Hospital Foundation and Research Center.
The second award, titled “Outstanding Diversity and Inclusion Practices in Procurement Teams”, has been given to the EXPRO for its success in diversifying the supplier base and increasing opportunities for small and medium enterprises, to enhance their participation in the framework agreements and multiplicity's products and services.
Hani Mirza, Executive Vice President of EXPRO, said that the achievement reflects the authority’s commitment to achieving the highest standards of efficiency and quality in the government procurement sector, expressing thanks for the support of other government institutions.
The CIPS Award is among the world’s most prestigious awards for institutions achieving high levels of excellence in procurement and supply chain activities. CIPS is a global professional body specializing in many world regions' procurement and supply chain sectors.
