Riyadh, SPA: Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanain, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, met today with Dr. Ruba Jaradat, the Regional Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO) for the Arab States.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Ministry and the ILO and reviewed several issues of mutual concern, particularly the second phase of their cooperation project aimed at supporting the Ministry in labour analysis, policies, and capacity building in the Ministry’s work fields. This second phase follows the successful cooperation project and programs between the Ministry and the ILO that began in 2018.
The ILO’s Regional Office praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's role in the organization.
