Riyadh Development Authority developed a comprehensive public transportation plan that
comprises metro and bus routes.The metro system comprises 6 routes and 85 stations with
176 km total length. The metro system will start with 202 trains subject to increase to
338 trains. The capacity of the metro system is 1.16 million passengers subject to
increase to 3.6 million passengers.
