Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, Minister of Culture and Information, received here yesterday Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
During the meeting, they discussed issues pertaining to the cultural and media issues among the GCC states and exchanged views on ways of developing joint action and addressing media challenges in various media outlets. They also discussed the possibility of taking advantage of modern technology in media publishing in order to cope with the latest developments at local and international arenas.
